Gwenda Rudge gives a talk about Maria Isabel Regina Aspasia Vaughan (née de Bittencourt), Countess of Lisburne (d. 1944), first wife of Ernest Edmund Henry Malet Vaughan, 7^th Earl of Lisburne and daughter of Don Julio Fermin Albert de Bittencourt.

The Llanafan Women’s Institute Cottage, Bronheulog, was given by the Countess of Lisburne to the Women’s Institute as a meeting room in 1917. It was later entrusted to Llanafan WI, in fee simple, by the Earl of Lisburne in 1956.
