 .\n\nCarys is the Biodiversity Information and Communications Officer for 
 the West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre (WWBIC)\, deeply involved i
 n wildlife conservation and biodiversity in the Ceredigion region and wide
 r West Wales.\n\nShe has a background in ecology\, assisting with bird rin
 ging\, bird and bat surveys and plant monitoring. A biological recorder\, 
 she has been involved with groups in Ceredigion\, and has run recording ac
 tivities with volunteers.
